The fact is that leather is timeless because it is durable and comes in a variety of styles. This analogy is applied to journalism students because we need to be excellent writers. We have to accommodate the fast pace of the technology era but also remain strong verbally in case the power goes out. “Even when you think you have everything prepared ahead of time, you may still have to resort to a back-up plan.” As a journalist, you have to meet people face-to-face.
