Activity Level — Web-based Instruction

Examining the Activity Level of the Web involves determining what types of general activities and specific instructional methods are possible within Web-based courses.

  • Existing WBI Courses and their Design

This full paper and enclosed tables describe several general instructional methods or strategies relevant to Web-based instruction and suggests how they might be implemented. Please be aware that this was originally published in 1997 in Badrul Khan's book on WBI so many of the links are now outdated. The tables, however, might be useful to generate ideas about the type of instructional strategies that can be incorporated in WBI.
