Program Level - Web-based Instruction

Web-based instructional methods can also be incorporated at the programmatic levels in the development and sharing of resources. Knowledge management techniques such as capitalizing on collective experience by providing a method for housing valuable instructional resources for flexible use and access by various audiences.

 

    The Instructional Technology program is currently working on developing a prototype resource knowledge base of individual instructional modules, Web links and resources that can provide assistance to students, faculty and professionals in the field of instructional design.
     
  • Evolution of the Web
  • Presentation for AECT 2000 conference taking a broad look at the evolution of technical attributes on the Web and corresponding theories, instructional strategies and examples.
     

Students in the Immersion program are currently developing a Knowledge Web containing resources related to instructional design and development. Students are currently linking these knowledge base contributions to an overall of theories and strategies related to instructional design. This effort will eventually intersect with the IT program knowledge base.
