"Legal Ethical Issues of Perjuring Clients" This research paper explores the ethical issues behind clients perjuring in legal situations. It becomes a tricky situation when an attorney bound by the attorney-client privilege and dealing with a dishonest client. The film, Lincoln Lawyer, explores this issue further, and I include an analysis of the film's representation of this issue in my research. This is my most recent research work done in the area of law. Combining both research analysis and film analysis is a unique, yet effective combination for a research paper.

"An Analysis of Alex Tabarrok's 'Medical Malpractice Awards, Insurance, and Negligence'" The economic issue of malpractice premiums being so high is becoming a heightened issue in the medical field. The tort system has a large role in incorrectly determining medical negligence, and this is something attorneys have taken advantage of. This paper examines the statistics behind the connection of malpractice insurance premiums to the malpractice suits awarded. This is a shorter paper that touches on all the important facts Tabarrok goes over. This paper showcases the intertwining of economics and law, which allows for the creation of a powerful argument regarding medical malpractice.

"The Controversial Insanity Defense" This research paper is a condensed version of the original research I have done on this topic. It provides my overarching argument regarding the uses of insanity defense, and both the pros and cons of allowing such a defense in our legal system. This research topic was my first deeper study about law. It was during the research of this paper, I realized I was interested in pursing law. I have worked on different versions of this research many times, which is why I felt the need to put a version of this in my portfolio. I have the full length version of this paper, available upon request, that dives even deeper into the problem.
