The country of Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world and has been ranked 204 in the world in terms of GDP. Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa near the Indian Ocean, bordering between Kenya and Mozambique. This country were once dominated by Great Britain and Germany during World War I. However after the declaration of independence from the British in 1961, the economy of Tanzania started to deteriorate. However, with the increase in major exporting agricultural commodities such as coffee, grains, tobacco, and tea, the country can become stronger and more independent. With support from World Bank, UNDP, IFAD, and many other organizations, Tanzania can overcome poverty, lower the youth unemployment, and increased agricultural productions.

The country of Tanzania is located in Eastern Africa near the Indian Ocean, bordering between Kenya and Mozambique. The area of this country is more than six times the size of Georgia and almost twice the size of California. Bordering Tanzania are Kenya from the north, Mozambique from the south, Malawi from the south, Zambia from the southwest, the Democratic Republic of the Congo from the west, Burundi from the northwest, Rwanda from the northwest, and Uganda from the northwest. The total area of Tanzania is about 947,300 square kilometers, making it the 31st largest ranked country.
