Since breaking the surface in 2004, this standout social network called, Facebook, has climbed its way to the top overnight. The individual behind the new found craze is a Harvard University dropout named Mark Zuckerberg. Statistics released by Facebook show that:
To put those statistics into perspective, the population of Facebook would make up the third largest country in the world, beating the United States by two-thirds, if it was granted land on Earth (Fletcher, 2010). Nothing seems to be slowing down what once started as a college-based social network and has now developed into the most popular system of connections on the planet.
