Updates
In an effort to improve accessibility I've made a few updates.
- H1 text increased in size to improve readability.
- Background color of header area changed to black, just to get rid of the contrast error because I feel the warning was an error, and that the text is big enough to be read despite the contrast not being ideal; the background image is still visible.
- link color was darkened in the content area to increase contrast, however, since the link is now a dark enough color to make it less distinguishable from ordinary text, an underline attribute was added to links to make them more identifiable.
- Background color of the footer text was darkened to increase contrast with white footer nag, and the footer nav text size was increased from 11px to 13px.
- An alt tag was added to the image of the frog on the aesthetics page.
According to the W3C CSS validator, my CSS is valid at CSS level 3, so they said I could put this fun badge on my site:
The markup validation service didn't go over so well. There were 15 errors and 1 warning, but they're all related to the new meta tags that were added, so I'm gonna leave them right where they are.
