Knowing your audience here is key; if your audience doesn't like your content, then you're not going to have a successful site. It's also useful to think about what content really means.
Content doesn't have to be limited to words on a screen, content can be graphics, audio, and video files. Content can even take the shape of interactive media, like games. Depending on who your audience is, you might just want to post videos to spoon feed information and entertain them. Or you might just want to keep things fairly basic and use images and text. In either case, you think about your audience and about what appeals to them most.
