Course Information

My Experience With This Course

STAT 250, as the course name indicates, is an introductory course in Statistics. For me, this was a review class since I had studied statistics when I was in college previously.

This was an online class. The majority of the course content was delivered via the textbook website where practice problems, homework assignments and quizzes were available. The textbook information was supplemented by the professor’s instructional videos (Available here: surina YouTube Channel ) and assignments using MINITAB software: MINITAB Website

Throughout the semester there were significant technical issues with the textbook website. This caused frustration for me and, judging from comments posted in the on-line discussion board, for others in the class as well.

This class was a good review, and I enjoyed learning how to use a new statistical software product (MINITAB).
