Technology training in today’s society is as essential as the basics of reading, writing and math. Schools have a responsibility to ensure all their students are capable and competent with the use of the technological tools available. Society has a responsibility to ensure all students have access to these tools in their schools and libraries so that the gap between rich and poor is not widened. The student’s economic future may depend on their ability to function in our increasingly technological society.
