How will technology make a difference between the rich and the poor? The students who go to schools, such as Fairfax County schools, will have an advantage because they will be better equipped with the new technology and also most likely have a computer with internet access at home. While the students who go to schools, such as Prince William County schools, will be at a disadvantage because they will not have as much money to buy the new technological advances to teach students or pay the technology teachers. Buying the equipment and not having the teaching staff is a waste of money. Also many students cannot afford a computer, so they do not have one to use at home. This highlights the gap between rich and poor because the people who cannot afford these new technological advances cannot learn them and will be left in the dark. In the future, they will have more difficulty getting jobs and will be less knowledgeable in the increasing technological world.
