Once you have mastered the basics of HTML and CSS, you should start considering the design of your site. When considering the design of your site, you have to think about both practicality, usability, and aesthetics. It helps to look at website templates in order to see how sites are normally structured and organized. For example, you don't want to have your home button to be at the bottom of your website, no matter how avant garde you think it is. - If you have a lot to say, break your information into smaller chunks and place it on different pages!
- Create a consistent navigation structure that is used by all the pages in your Web site.
- Make sure you test your Web site on different monitors.
