My name is Boshra Zawawi. I hold a MEd in the Instructional Design and Development program under the College of Education and Human Development from George Mason University. I am from Saudi Arabia. I came to the U.S in summer 2007 with my husband and children for the purpos of higher education.
I started my master's in Fall 2010 and graduated in Spring 2012. I also earned the e-Learning Graduate Certificate as a secondary program from the same master's degree.
I joined this program because I am passionate about learning emerging technologies in the field of education and human development. Moreover, teaching has been my favorite practice since I was young.
Therefore, attending this program has fulfilled my desire of becoming a professional instructional designer through excellent innovative courses, talented faculty members, challenging projects, and active interdisciplinary groups. This program has provided me with both theory and practice to design and develop optimal learning environments. I became confident using current and emerging instructional technologies to design and develop online instructions. I am eager and ready to start my second phase in real-life challenges to prove and improve my skills and knowledge.
