Our Goals

Everyone has goals of their own, including us! Goals are our biggest motivators to stay on-top of our work and carry out our mission. Although some of these goals are hard and require a lot of effort, we are willing to do whatever it takes to get ourselves to the finish line. After all, nobody has gotten anywhere by sitting on their beds all day (at least not that we know of). If you're interested in reading about our goals, check out the information below!

Our Biggest Goal

Our biggest goal is to protect the victims of the Yemeni crisis. There's nothing more that we want except for their well-being and happiness. Although it seems tough (given their current circumstances), we believe that it is possible to make a change. And our main goal revolves around making that change and doing our best to fight against the injustice and help the victims.

Short-Term Goals

Trying to make a difference in solving the Yemeni Crisis is no easy task. It can take years of blood, sweat, and tears before we make a serious impact. That's why we've decided to lay out some short-term goals to make our primary goal more feasible. Here's a list of our upcoming plans:

By Winter 2020:

  • Send at least 10,000 food packages to our designated homeless shelters
  • Raise $20,000 for fixing the damages in various buildings
  • Prepare winter gift baskets (with coats, blankets, etc) and distribute them before Winter 2020.
  • Host fun events during various holidays to boost morale
  • Provide COVID-19 testing kits to increase testing rates
  • Prepare another set of gift baskets with sanitation items to help tackle COVID-19

By Spring 2021:

  • Send at least 50,000 food packages to our designated homeless shelters
  • Have a basic plan for an affordable method to obtain clean water
  • Donate various electronic devices to help the people stay connected to the rest of the world
  • Provide paid jobs to reduce unemployment by 5%
  • Continue to find providers that will supply COVID-19 testing kits
  • Reduce the cases of COVID-19 by 20% through various means

Long-Term Goals

We want to set our sights on the bigger picture. Although it might take some time, we’re prepared for it. Here’s a list of the long-term goals that we would like to complete within a 5-year and 10-year span:

By 2025:

  • Create a plan and implement the basic framework of an acessible and free education
  • Create an exchange program where civilians can visit other countries on a budget
  • Make 1,000 more stations of clean water
  • Provide opportunities for the disabled
  • Provide paid jobs to reduce unemployment by 25%
  • Build smaller medical centers that can treat 10,000 patients

By 2030:

  • Create a public school education system that requires no cost
  • Negotiate for the sworn protection of the Yemeni people from the US government
  • Finish building the system to bring clean water to families
  • Provide paid jobs to reduce unemployment by 35%
  • Build private hospitals that can treat 50,000 patients
  • Reduce poverty by 20%

Note: While these are the goals that we have in mind, our timeline may change as the state of the world evolves. This page will be updated whenever we believe that changes need to be made to our goals, which will ensure timely completion and realistic expectations.
