Personal Reflections

Now that you have completed this Level, you have gained new perspective, enhanced your skills in problem solving and decision making, and now have developed cognitive abilities that more closely resemble those of experts in your field. It is now time to reflect on that learning. This reflection helps you store the information you've learned in a meaningful way so that you can use the skills you learned when you need them in your everyday work.

Use the Notepad function to chronicle your thoughts. As you write your Reflections consider these areas:

  • What did you learn from the collaborative process of decision making?
  • How did your approach compare with that of the Experts you studied?
  • How would you change your plan or solution now that you've had a chance to read how others solved the same problem?
  • Where do you think you still need guidance and practice? Where do you think you could get this practice?
This area is your personal area and is password protected. You will need to make this area accessible to your instructor during the time of the course, but after you have completed the course, the area is your own personal space.

Prototype Description - Personal Reflections

"Personal Reflections" engages students in action reflection on their performance and growth as responsible FS and BLM managers. This mental action solidifies the learning that has taken place, again gives them an opportunity to articulate their thought processes, and helps to encode learning into memory making it accessible when needed for everyday job responsibilities.
