~What's to Come~

Cell phones are highly advanced today, but only a decade ago the technology available today could not have even been thought of. What is to say that in the next ten years the cell phone will not be something that comes installed in your brain and you just talk as you think. It might not get that advanced, but there are technological leaps being made that are headed in that direction. The leader in technological advances, Japan, can always be looked to when wanting to find the latest technology. They now have something that no one has even seen in the U.S. A wrist videophone. It can be used to watch television and downloaded videos. There is even a phone that has no buttons, it operates by using gestures. It is called the ?Onyx? and it was created in Sweden and is a break through in modern technology (Future).

As has been happening for the last two decades, the phones have been getting smaller, lighter, and cheaper along with the chips that run them. In the next year we might not even have phones, there will be an easier and more reliable way to communicate with other people fast. As technology keeps advancing, moving from phones the size of bricks to phones small enough for you to conceal in your palm, the world keeps advancing. It has only been about 25 years since the first cell phones were introduced, a fraction of the technology age, so who is to say where it ends. Phones will keep getting smaller, along with all other components and new devices will continue to amaze us. All we have to do is wait and let it come to us.
