The Physics standards emphasize a more complex understanding of experimentation, the analysis of data and the use of reasoning and logic to evalute evidence. Key areas covered by the standards include force and motion, kinetic molecular theory, energy transformations, wave phenomena and the electromagnetic spectrum, light, electricity, fields, and non-Newtonian physics. The standards stress the practical application of physics in other areas of science and technology and how physics affects our world. A network of sites lead by an expert guide. This site includes a comprehensive listing of Physics-related sites from Newton's Law, tutorials on quantum physics, physics reference data and much more. A web-based demonstration
of how amusement park rides use physics law to simulate danger, provides
a physics glossary to explain termology. Features nine ways to learn about fusion energy: An Internet Plasma Physics EXperience which includes links on matter, electricity, magnetism, energy, and fusion. General Atomics Fusion Groups Educational Home Page Explains the fusion
process, provides a fusion glossary and links to web sites with information
