2003

  • March: SGD, Inc. CEO interviewed for upcoming issue of Fortune magazine--attributes success to his employees and GMU education.

2002

  • September: SGD, Inc announces plans to expand in 2003.

2001

  • June: SGD, Inc. becomes one of Forbes "100 Best Small Businesses."

2000

  • March: IPO--Company goes public and lists on Wall Street as "SGD."

1999

  • July: SGD receives largest contract ever from the Department of Justice.

1998

  • November: First major project completed. Success spreads through government by word-of-mouth.
  • August: Funds are raised to begin operations and Fairfax headquarters.
  • June: Business plans are developed by Stephen Diehl to start his own consulting company.
