Balance
Balance is the arrangement of objects in a given design and it's usually presented in two forms: symmetrical and asymmetrical.
Rhythm
Rhythm is the repetition of elements. Rhythm can create a sense of movement, and can establish pattern and texture. There are different kinds of rhythm, some of which are demonstrated below:
Dominance
Dominance relates to varying degrees of emphasis in design. The three types of dominance are emphasis by contrast, isolation and placement.
Proportion
Proportion is the relationship in scale between one element and another, or between a whole object and one of its parts. Differing proportions can help establish visual weight and depth.
