Tiger Escapes From Local Zoo

The town was in an uproar as a Tiger escaped Townsville Zoo last night. One of the zookeeper's accidently left Lily's cage open and she managed to not only leave her cage, but also found her way out of the zoo. Zookeepers found Lily by Joe's Tackle Shop and were successful in capturing her and returning her to her cage without injury to any citizen. Townsville Mayor John Smith vows to begin an investigation into the procedures at the zoo to insure no more incidents like this occurs.

Mayor John Smith will be having a meet and greet at Shenanigans On Wednesday, December 5th where all are welcome to come and meet the Mayor, as well as take a photograph and enjoy a free dinner courtesy of the mayor.

 

Flash Floods Ravage Townsville
11/17/12

Flash Floods hit across the Town this morning causing massive destruction to several homes and businesses. Estimates are putting the damages in the millions of dollars range. The northwestern areas of Townsville took the most severe damage. Mayor John Smith has declared a state of emergency for the town and has set up the Townsville Marauder’s Basketball Arena as an emergency center to provide food and shelter to those who have lost their homes in this tragic event.

 

Town Hall Meeting

There will be a town hall meeting Monday, December 3 to discuss the citizen's concerns about town safety and other issues.
