1999 IOOB Call for Papers
George Mason University will be hosting the 20th Annual Industrial Organizational/Organizational Behavior (IOOB) Graduate Student Conference on March 19-21, 1999 in Fairfax, Virginia. Graduate students enrolled in programs in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, or a related field are invited to submit paper abstracts for review. The theme for the 1999 conference is The Changing World of Work: IOOB for the 21st Century. Papers addressing issues relevant to the theme are especially encouraged. Both empirical and conceptual papers can be presented, as well as works in progress or something you intend to present/publish elsewhere.
Paper presentations will be limited to 12 minutes and an additional three minutes are provided for questions. Sessions will consist of four to five papers grouped by subject area. The guidelines for submitting an abstract are as follows:
The deadline for submittal is January 22, 1999. All submissions must be postmarked by this date. Expect notice via e-mail that the abstract has been received within two weeks.
Please mail three abstract copies, one self-addressed stamped envelope, and the completed submittal form to:
IOOB Call for Papers, MSN 3F5
George Mason University
4400 University Drive

If any changes are necessary, the reviewed abstract will be returned with the revisions. A copy of the abstract on a 3.5"disk in Word 6.0/95 will then be requested so that the abstract can be placed in the conference program. Clearly label the name of author(s) and university affiliation on the disk. This must be postmarked no later than February 19, 1999.
If you have any questions regarding your submittal, please contact Celia Chandler at cchandl1@gmu.edu.
