As time goes on, the importance of computing when it comes to people’s day to day lives is increasing at an astounding rate.  As a result of this the need for computer programmers, and IT specialists is also rising.  Businesses are now looking for students with degrees in fields like Computer Science and Information Technology as their businesses are becoming more computer-oriented.  Due to the fact that businesses on a global scale, are becoming more technological there is an increased need for computer programmers and as a result more students are pursuing degrees in both the Computer Science and IT fields.
While many students get to pursue their dreams of becoming a computer programmer there are also students that do not get this opportunity because they cannot afford the rising cost of college tuition.
On September 19, 2013 the Hello World Project was created by Andrew Kitzmiller, so those students that can’t afford college can be given the opportunity pursue their dreams of becoming a programmer.
