My name is Phillip Smith, I’m currently a senior at George Mason University and am majoring in Applied Information Technology with a focus in Web Design and Multimedia.  Thanks to the Hello World Project and the scholarship I was rewarded, I am able to attend college in the pursuit of my dreams of becoming a programmer.   While at George Mason University I’ve learned everything from creating basic Web Pages using HTML, CSS, and WYSIWYG editors, to learn how to program using Java, and have even gotten some experience using MySQL to create and manage databases.  Over the next semester I will be learning PHP, Ruby, encryption, as well as learn how to hack the school systems computers so I can change all of my grades to an A.
My goal is to eventually gain enough knowledge so that I can start my own company and become a billionaire.  Upon making $50 billion I see no other option than pursuing my real goal of world domination! All of this would never have been possible if it weren’t for the Hello World Project, thank you!!!
