The Freedom Hockey Club

The Freedom Ice Hockey Club is a proud member of the NVHSL. For the past six years, we have competed both at the Varsity and JV level levels of the NVSHL, accumulating an overall record of 35-27. Although we are affiliated with Freedom High School as a non-curricular club, we are an independent organization, meaning we are not governed by the VSHL or its associated bodies. We proudly self-fund, self-market, and serve the South Riding community. Besides playing a 10 game schedule in the winter, we also competes in the Ashburn High School Spring league from April to June.

Mission Statement

As a club, our goal is to represent and expand the burgeoning hockey community within South Riding, VA. Most of our players have five-plus years of hockey playing experience, but we welcome all players regardless of skill or ability. In addition to providing an outlet for local hockey players, the FHS Ice Hockey Club also provides academic support for all of its student athletes.
