Again, previous playing experience is encouraged, but not entirely required.

Potential Sponsors : If you would like to donate to the FHS Hockey club in order to place a logo on the club's t-shirt and game day pamphlet, please contact Jeff Grab at jgrab74@gmail.com. Sponsorship amounts can be personalized, and all sponsorship donations go towards playing and ice time costs.

Coaching

The 2016-2017 will be Coach Anderson's 7th year on the Freedom coaching staff, and his 4th as the head coach. Coach Anderson is a certified Level 4 USA Hockey coach, and a former D1 club hockey goaltender for WVU. In addition to coaching at FHS, Coach Anderson has also coached a birth year Xtreme team, and he still plays in the Ashburn Adult Hockey league weekly.

Besides coaching, Coach Anderson has taught 11th and 12th grade English at Freedom High School for the past six years. As a coach and teacher, he aims to not only challenge and motivate his players and students, but also keep them accountable both on and off of the ice.
