Dr. van Rooij has a wealth of experience with higher education that includes 5 years of college classroom teaching plus a strong background in e-learning. As a Certified Distance Education Professional (C.D.E.P.), she is a frequent speaker on the development of Web-based education. Dr. van Rooij is currently the Director of Product Marketing at Datatel,Inc., in Fairfax, VA, where she facilitates the engineering of new e-learning technology solutions. She is also a faculty-facilitator at the University of Phoenix Online Campus and an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University.
