George Mason University: September 2015-May 2017
- Implemented the Low Energy Adaptive Cluster Head (LEACH) protocol along with our proposed improvements for the network lifetime and appropriate distribution of cluster heads, and wrote a research paper on it.
- Constructed the Traffic Engineered MPLS network, with 3 hops, in MATLAB to compare simulated network end-to-end delay with analytical values, in both independent and dependent service time scenarios.
- Modelled different M/M/1 queueing systems- M/M/1, finite M/M/1, feedback M/M/1-in MATLAB to analyze queueing parameters like expected queue size, delay across network, and throughput for multiple utilization values.
- Simulated a multiple UAV environment using Radio Propagation Software (RPS v5.3) for a project and paper report on 'Cooperative Communication Using UAV-Assisted Relaying'. Results showed improvement in signal quality for UAVs' operating in complex NLOS regions, where constructing multiple BSSs' isn't feasible.
- Generated network packets for different distributions, mimicking various real-world communication situations on MATLAB, plotted histogram and CDF without inbuilt MATLAB library functions.
- Configured SDT connector to access multiple routers to implement routing protocols from like RIP V1, V2, OSPF, BGP, HDLC, and Frame Relay.
Tata Institute of Social Sciences- T.E.A.M Android App (patent pending) July 2016-August 2016
- Developed an Android app to work as an Emergency Alert System, to send emergency alerts and warnings, with a 2 screen login security feature for application to send alerts to a group of people or even place calls to designated departments directly from the app to directly report issues regarding the department.
- Warnings were separated from Alerts by a different login screen, allowing access to only registered personnel via an access based on employee ID, allowing only the right authorities to send warnings to the entire institute for employee evacuations, in case of emergencies.
SIES GST- Movable Patient Online Health Monitoring System using GSM August 2013-March 2014
- Developed a portable system with which the Temperature and Heartbeat parameters of an Individual was constantly monitored onto a GSM Cell phone equipped with GPS and GPRS.
- Designed an alerting system such that whenever the parameters went above or below the prescribed limits, an SMS alert with the parameters and GPS co-ordinates was sent to the concerned person.
