REWARDS
Badges are rewards because
they provide us with something for doing a good deed.
However, rewards within Girl Scouts don’t necessarily mean
a specific item, but rather it can be a piece of knowledge that we get
out of the activities as well. While completing the different tasks
required for the badges, we are learning about different aspects of the
community, and how we might be able to improve those aspects. This
creates citizenship because we are trying to better our knowledge of
the community, and improving the community at the same time.
