Girl Scout Council
"The Start of Patricia's Hypertext Essay"
NCLC 140: Seminar E Prof. Muir
"On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, and to live by the Girl Scout Law.”

This promise is an oath that I said, and what every Girl Scout has to say, when they first become a Girl Scout. It is an oath stating what our purpose is as a Girl Scout, and it is the general guideline for everything we do as a Girl Scout in the future.

Girl Scout Council is the place where dreams for Girl Scouts start, and this place is what helps make everything happen. It is like a City Hall within the Girl Scout National Community. Girl Scouts is a community of girls that want to help demonstrate leadership as role models within their community. Girl Scouts are model citizens within their community because there are many ways that they demonstrate forms of citizenship.
