2011 - 2012 Working through the University of Virginia with four teachers (two from Spotsylvania County and two from Stafford County) on the creation of units of study and rich tasks for the Mathematics Capstone course. Items will be placed on the VDOE website as no textbook is to be used for the course. Part of the project is train the trainer model so I will work with my group of four on how to implement the course in their school districts with the vision intended.

2011 Wanted to become more involved in associations of mathematics leadership so have accepted positions with Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics as the chairperson of the Membership Committee and of the Professional Development Grant. Both positions will enable me to learn more about the functions and inner workings of the group.

2010 Algebra, Functions, and Data Analysis: Statistics and Probability (Internship)
