Eric Rose
Eric's educational background is in Business Administration. A liberal arts education from the University of Mary Washington provided him the opportunity to gain an in-depth knowledge of business practices while exposing him to many other disciplines - from anthropology to electronic music. This diverse education taught him to approach problems from many different perspectives, and gave him the tools to analyze them from atypical mindsets.
Eric has always had an interest in, and affinity for, computers. In 2002, he began to take an interest in web design and developed his first personal website. In 2007, he began to further his skills by taking it upon himself to learn proper HTML and CSS coding. As he developed his knowledge, he began to look for a way to use these skills in combination with an interest to better human life. He found it in the field of Instructional Technology.
In addition to his coursework, he works indendently designing corporate websites and increasing his web development skills - such as AJAX, Java, XML, and Flash - as well as graphic design techniques. Upon graduating, Eric hopes for a career that challenges both his analytical and development skills as an Instructional Designer or Web Developer.
