Project Description

T/TAC Logo

The 2008-2009 Immersion Team provided Instructional Technology services to T/TAC Online. The Technical/Training Assistance Center (T/TAC) program is a division of the Virginia Department of Education that provides assistance to parents, teachers, and other professionals that serve children (birth to 22 years) with disabilities. T/TAC Online is the organization's website that provides informational, event, and training resources to its customers.

This Immersion Team was tasked with updating the development process of the website's Online Training resources. In its development, the team was asked to consider current and emerging training module development software and emerging training-delivery methods. The client also recommended that the team consider incorporating ideas from the trend toward a "social web" ("Web 2.0") idea to encourage virtual collaboration within the organization.
