In
groups of 4, answer the following questions and justify your answers:
How
much budget do you plan to spend on the trip?
How long to do you plan to stay in India?
You
and your class mates are planning a trip to India during the summer
as that is when schools will be closed for the summer break. You
are willing to spend upto $3,000 while others can spend upto $4,000.
It will be hard for you to come up with an additional $1,000 (if
required). You are on a strict budget though length of stay is
not a problem at all. Costs of airline tickets vary for different
airlines and almost every big airline flies to major cities in
India. Such as American airlines, British Airways, Air France,
Virgin Atlantic etc. On an average a round trip to India would
cost you $1,400 but during Summer, tickets are more expensive.
Expenses within India on travel, sight seeing, accomodation, food
etc. will be additional. For better reference here is a recent
price quote for travel starting July 05 to July 20th. You can
access makemytrip.com for additional airline quotes.
