Why I became an Mentor: What I hope to do at my company:
I have had the pleasure of leading design and development teams for three years and then moved up the management ranks to the position I now hold.

What inspired me to apply for the position of mentor was my experience with one of my first project managers--more than eight years ago. She modeled for me the qualities of leadership that had I hoped to emulate someday and encouraged me to develop more than I thought imaginable. I commend our company for building this innovative learning opportunity. I hope to pass on the kind of inspiration I received and watch the future unfold.
During my three years as a team project manager, I had the opportunity to be a part of teams having very talented members. My goal is to be a part of this creative learning environment and process that is creating the future of design teams for our company. We are a successful corporation because of the talents and enthusiasm of these team members. I am proud to have this mentorship opportunity.
