Virtual Machines and 3D Modeling-Printing

The objective of the assignment was in two parts. The first was to setup a Linux virtual machine and create a python program to print 'Hello Robot'



The second part was to install and learn AUTOCAD via tutorials and then learn how to 3-D print objects using a MAKERBOT printer. The first task had the student, given the STL file, 3D print a small robot.



To demonstrate what was learned from the AUTOCAD tutorials, the student was asked to create a 3-D model of his initials.



Once the model was completed, it was then exported as an STL file so that it could be 3-D printed.
