Introduction

President Barack Obama has decided that improving foreign relations with the Middle East is priority 1 upon entering the White House. He realizes that many Americans are still confused about the difference between Muslims and Terrorists. Unfortunately, this is a connection that many Americans mix-up on a daily basis. In order to help Americans understand the unique history and culture of the Islamic people, President Obama has tasked his transition team with creating a "Dummy's Guide" to the History of Islam in hopes of clarifying this hot-button issue for many Americans.
