Welcome to Unbounder. This is a place for any and everyone to explore literature and the journey a good book can take you on. Here we dive in to a text. I offer tips on writing, help students analyze the literature they are learning in class, and pair books with things I am doing in my daily life.
My name is Kirsten and I am a Senior at George Mason University. I am an English Major with a Concentration in Creative Writing and a Minor in Writing and Rhetoric. Readign and Writing has always been something I loved from an early age. From as far back as I can remember, I have alwyas loved stories and how books can create amazing worlds in the readers mind. Literature has always been my safe place; somewhere that I can turn to learn, live, and escape.
Unbounder bridges my love of literature with a lifestyle blog. On Unbounder, you will encounter book pairings, where I pair a book with something I am doing in my daily life. Literature tips, where I offer help and tips for students to help them with the writing process. I also post literature analysis posts where I analyze a work of literature as a way to help others appreciate the work more and start a discussion around my read of the poem, prose, or other work. Once a month, I post an original work of poetry or prose. These original works are multimedia in nature. Along with the original work, I post an image that connects with the poem, a song that evokes a similar message, and a book that touches on a similar theme as the original work I posted. Unbounder is a place for discussion and learning, where I try to share what I know about literatuer as well as gain some new knowledge and understandings of my own.
