  • Research on “MapReduce acceleration

  • Implementation of several machine learning algorithms in Apache Hadoop using Hadoop streaming to write C codes for the map and reduce functions

  • Evaluation of the overall accelerated MapReduce implementation based on the results obtained from hardware acceleration on Zedboard
