Over the past year Jacob has spent his extracurricular time becoming affluent in the auction industry. Jacob has worked with Fredericksburg Auction Company in a leadership role as the Auctioneer’s assistant. Estate sales are dynamic. Jacob has thrived in the auction industry because of his intuition. Merchandise is new every week with wide range of quality. Jacob’s problem solving skills are key to his ability to overcome challenges fast dynamic environments present. He had roles in sales, collections, security, management, logistics, and merchandise ownership.
Firas Hamdan is part of the Art and Visual Technology program at George Mason University. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, with a minor in Business. He already received his associate's degree from NOVA, where he spent time advancing his art skills and learning new methods of creating. Firas hopes to pursue teaching after receiving his Bachelor’s degree as a way to give back to the art community. He believes that art is not only a gateway to originality and creativity, but a way to cope with the stress of everyday life.
Billy Rosales is a Junior at George Mason University, his major is Applied Information Technology with a concentration in information Security. He intends to pursue a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity. Billy has always believed that keeping yourself educated can help build on opportunities in life, during his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps he attended college classes that have helped him in his transition into attending College and University. As an entrepreneur Billy has much to bring to the table, experience from being his father’s right hand man in managing his construction and remodeling company has given him some advantage in seeing how to work the ins and outs of a company. He also held many jobs in customer service and administrative assistants that have helped him talk to customers effectively. This experience is something he hopes to use when the time comes for him to start his own business.
Theresa Sweeting is a junior at George Mason University, she is majoring in Graphic Design. She has always had a passion and talent for art but never really considered pursuing it as a career until her husband suggested it. Since then she has been striving as one of the best students in all of her classes and by doing so has gained much confidence in her abilities. Theresa is a Marine Corps veteran, before her enlistment she got an associate degree in science and worked as a Veterinary Technician for almost 5 years. Theresa is currently a Realtor serving Northern Virginia and also a full time student at the university. After graduating she is hoping to build on her career in real estate with property investments, to grow in the field of graphic design and launch business ideas she has with her husband.
