Traditionally, many families in the United States started off their mornings with the newspaper, which was delivered to people’s homes. The newspaper was a primary way for people to have accurate information on news. This was how people informed themselves about politics, sports, the weather, scientific discoveries, fashion, art, and the classifieds. Then the World Wide Web was created and changed everything. The newspaper’s profile and characteristics became digital. The newspaper companies began putting their news on the internet, and the traditional printed newspaper slowly began fading away from the front door of people’s homes. It started appearing in places no one had imagined decades earlier, like the computer screen. This change has occurred because of technological advancements, such as the internet and World Wide Web. The news can be accessed quickly online with the click of a button, but this means that the printed newspaper, circulation of the news, and readership has also experienced a lot of change.
