The newspaper has come a long way, from its first version more than two millenniums ago in Rome, to the print version of the paper, to the most recent net edition. Since the first net edition of the paper was published, many newspapers have also decided to print and go online. The internet has helped the newspapers become more entertaining, interactive, and accurate since they can be updated immediately, however they are causing the print versions of newspapers to fade away because the net editions are more popular. This can possibly lead to an end of newspapers since there are not enough profits being made from the print versions and the net editions do not make much money at all. The influence of the net edition of newspapers has affected readership, entertainment, profits, and even jobs in the newspaper industry.
