Introduction

The myTouch by T-mobile is one of the first smart phones on the market to offer the new Android operating system by Google. The phone has been introduced as one of the most technologically advanced, user friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and completely customizable cell phones to date. The phone not only offers the traditional individual modifications that prior cell phones offer such as covers, skins and wallpapers, but allows the user to easily customize the interface of the phone itself to fit the customer?s individual needs through HTC?s unique user interface (UI), the HTC Sense. (T-Mobile) With the cell phone industry being so competitive it is important the phone user is technologically coherent, possessing the know how to use and operate the smartphone, have the financial means to purchase such a device, have the need for the capabilities or customization, and/or simply have the desire to own such a device.
