This is an intensive workshop designed for students in the mid to later stages of the MFA degree in poetry.  Syllabus


Spring 2004: 

English 619:002 C/V/C  Concrete / Visual / Collage
A hands-on workshop creating concrete, visual, and textual collage poetry. Includes work on paper and in three dimensions, using various combinations of original text, found text, graphic images and visual images. We will also, of course, read poems and criticism in these discourses. Syllabus

English 464:001 Advanced Poetry Workshop
A workshop for those who have proven they can read and write poems, survive poetry workshops, and come back for more. We will read and discuss a variety of poems and poetic forms, as well as giving close attention to your own poems. Syllabus
