Call Sheet

 
 


The call sheet tells crewmembers and actors exactly what will happen on each individual day's shoot. It becomes the essential reference document for every member of the production team. The director should issue the call sheet to the producers for distribution at least a week in advance of each shoot.

The call sheet falls into two parts: first, the list of actors, crew and any special equipment required on a particular day and second, full details of location(s), transportation, parking and contact telephone numbers, plus a detailed breakdown of what will happen at each point during the shooting day. The examples below show a typical call sheet format and detail the level of information required for each day's filming
