Part 1: Typography

Assignment: Search for a quotation that appeals to you in some way. Set up a nicely designed xhtml/css page on which to display 2 versions of that quotation:

1) Use Photoshop or GIMP (or a similar image-editing program) to create an image that uses type to present the quotation. You can use different type weights and sizes, along with color, to enhance the meaning of the quotation.

2) Now do the same thing, but use only xhtml/css (no graphic images). See if you can create a similarly expressive version of the quotation (although it will necessarily be different, since your palette of fonts and design options is far more limited).
