This summer we partnered with Dr. Don Seto in bioinformatics to begin a mass data analysis of
peripheral blood samples derived from patients with IPF. Through an OSCAR funded summer impact project
we were able to recruit a talented group of students to analyze our data and begin the process of developing a webtool.
From a pool of nearly 100 students we selected 7 undergrduates to develop the project. It was a wonderful
experience for our lab and a great way to open a new collaboration with Dr. Seto. Thank you to the students and to OSCAR
for all of the hard work and effort!
