Establishing a $1 million scholarship
endowment for students traditionally under-represented at George
Mason University.
Promoting the highest levels of awareness, understanding, involvement,
and support for diversity within the university community and in
the Northern Virginia region as a whole.
Augmenting the recruitment, retention, and graduation of minority
students, and establishing them as a competitive group in the workforce.
Providing experiential employment for students from multicultural
backgrounds and developing partnerships with secondary schools with
large numbers of socially and economically disadvantaged students
in
order
to help those students early in their academic careers.

have experienced some degree of success in the Northern Virginia
community, I feel, need to share and give back some of that success
to our community and its institutions. My membership on the George
Mason University Diversity Advisory Board provides one means of
making such a contribution."
