About the Diversity Advisory Board

T he George Mason University Diversity Advisory Board (DAB) was established in1995. The DAB's membership includes more than 65 CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, and senior-level executives. The board is built on a partnership between corporate executives and the administrators of George Mason University whose goal is to support diversity initiatives.

The DAB is a "melting pot" of ethnicity, comprising African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, and Indian American corporate leaders. The unifying goal of the DAB is to identify and help address the challenges common to these and other Excellence in Diversity groups, and to support minority students at George Mason.

The efforts of the Diversity Advisory Board benefit the George Mason University community as a whole, and help the bright and motivated students of today become the dedicated and productive leaders of tomorrow.

"The Diversity Advisory Board continues to be an excellent resource to this university concerning diversity programs. The DAB is a great conduit for corporate leaders to interact with all levels of our university.
