The Life and Times of Christina Grieco

Twenty-two years ago Christina Grieco (in other words, I) was born in Fairfax, Virginia. There wasn't anything particularly exciting about it. My childhood was equally uneventful. Somehow, I ended up at George Mason University. Spring 2014 is my final semester at George Mason, and I will be graduating with my B.F.A. in Creative Writing Fiction. As far as you know, this entire biography could be fictional. Otherwise, I enjoy writing, reading, and knitting in my spare time (and by "spare," I mean time spent procrastinating). I adore my boyfriend almost as much as I adore my cats, and I aspire to live alone with my Persians and Calicos after retirement. Speaking of careers, I do not have one. Instead, I work at a fabric store and I think "rustic chic" is awful because burlap is an abomination. Most of the time, I reorganize bolts of fabric that quilters of all shapes, sizes, and ages (albeit, mostly elderly) trash within my store. This is why I applied to various M.F.A. programs; I like to think my talents can be found beyond the narrow aisles of retail establishments. My bio is far more interesting than Meghan Harrigan's. Despite her pink hair, she is actually quite boring.
