How to participate
Participation in the study involves initial open-ended interviews with you and/or your partner that will last approximately 1.5 hours, and an on-line survey in which your child or children will participate. Children age 8 and older are eligible to participate. The interview with you may be in-person but depending on where you are located, more likely it will be conducted by phone and tape-recorded. You are not responsible for any expenses incurred. Subsequently, if you agree, you may be selected as one of several families which will participate in follow-up interviews over the next decade. Follow-up interviews with your children will also take place in selected instances, if they would like to continue participating in this research.
